Special Rules
Legions Astartes - May always attempt to regroup at their normal Leadership value, regardless of casualties.
Inviolate Armour - Shooting attacks against LA(IH) models reduce their Strength by -1
Stand and Fight - Must pass a Ld test to make sweeping advances or to run. May not voluntarily Go to Ground.
Rigid Tactics - An Iron Hands detachment may not have more Jump Infantry, Bikes or Jetbike units than it has Infantry units (may negate access to some Rites of War)
Legion Specific Units
Iron Father +40p: Praetor gains a Servo-arm, FNP6+, Battlesmith. Cannot take Jump Pack, Bike, Jetbike.
Legion Specific Wargear
Blessed Autosimulacra: (IWND on a 6) All vehicles can be given this upgrade for 10p
Cyber-familiar: Any IH character can take one for 15p (increase invul +1, max 3+. Lets the model re-roll characteristic tests other than morale or terrain)
Rite of War: The Head of the Gorgon
Chosen Ground - Infantry gain Stubborn while in their own deployment zone.
War-relics - Any infantry equipped with FLAMERs may upgrade to a Graviton Gun for +10p. All vehicles gain the Blessed Autosimulacra for free (IWND on a 6+ instead of 5+)
Iron Scions - Legion Cybernetica Battle-Automata Maniples may be included as ELITES. Any infantry unit of 10 models or LESS eligible to take a Rhino as a Dedicated Transport may take a Land Raider Proteus or Phobos instead.
Armored Encirclement - Tanks placed in reserve gain Outflank.
- This detachment may only take 1 Fast Attack choice.
- With the exception of Forge Lords, this detachment can only take 1 Consul.
- This detachment may not take an allied detachment from another space marine legion.
RoW: Company of Bitter Iron
Company of Immortals: Medusan Immortals may be Troops.
Immortal Hatred: If in a Primary Detachment gain Hatred (Traitors).
Bitter Duty: Medusan Immortal units are stubborn when the majority of their models are in the enemy Deployment Zone.
- Loyalist Only. Can't be used with Shattered Legion.
- No Allied detachment.
- No Ferrus Manus.

Spearhead Commander: At the beginning of the game Orth must be assigned to a vehicle with the Tank subtype and Front Armour of at least 13. He does not take up transport capacity and cannot leave the vehicle until it has been immobilised or destroyed. If he is present in the vehicle when it is destroyed he is treated like a transported model. Afterwards he may only board vehicles as a Transport. While Orth is inside a tank it uses his BS skill of 5 and benefits from Tank Hunters for all it's attacks. *must have a tank in the army to command first

Gun them down: Rather than making a sweeping advance after a victorious assault, by passing a leadership test the squad may instead make snap shots at a single squad falling back away from them. This is done before any falling back models are moved and casualties are selected just as in assault. if the unit fails its leadership test no snap shots or sweeping advance may be made.
