Captain PL5 / Jump Pack PL6
- What used to be a Chapter Master but without access to Artificer Armor. Has a Master-Crafted Boltgun and the option for a Storm Shield and Relic Blade.
Captain on Bike PL7
- Gains a 14" move or 20" advance and a Twin Boltgun, +1T and +1W.
Captain in Terminator Armour PL8
- For +3PL he gets -1"M, Sv2+, +1W, Teleport Strike and a 5+ invul that's overridden by the 4+ Iron Halo. Can take a Wrist-mounted grenade launcher based on a unique Collectors Edition terminator captain miniature.
Captain in Cataphractii Armour PL8
- This version loses another 1"M in exchange for a 3+ invul. In exchange for not carrying a storm shield this guy can only advance half his roll.
Captain in Tartaros Armour
Land Raider Excelsior PL24
- Effectively a tank Captain with a 5+ invul and a Grav-cannon with the option for a combination-plasma.
Litanies of Hate: Chaplains have a 6" aura that lets CHAPTER units re-roll misses in melee.
Spiritual Leader: Chaplains share their Ld in a 6" aura which can combo with an Ancient to get a Ld10 bubble going.

- A melee support character between a Captain and Librarian

- 1PL upgrade, making it the same as the Captain but cheaper
Chaplain in Terminator Armour PL7
- 2PL upgrade having almost no wargear options. Cheaper than for the Captain but not nearly as flexible.
Chaplain Venerable Dreadnought PL11
- Venerable becomes a FNP6+ effect, he gets a 5+ invul, his weapon arm options are pretty basic. Instead of the normal Chaplain auras he gets 'Icon of Hate' which gives +1S to CHAPTER units in melee with the same enemy unit as him. He also counts as a character and can be screened by other units. Join him with a Captain/Chaplain and your choice of assault unit for maximum effect. Most marines will just go from wounding on 4s to 3s but those Termi squads should get a couple more 2s out of the deal. Not a big boost in practice but his Inferno Cannon could seal the deal.
Librarian PL6 / Jump Pack PL7
- Mastery Lv2, can deny once with +1 from his Psychic Hood.
Librarian in Terminator Armour PL9
- His profile changes just like the captain did with Terminator armor.
Librarian on Bike PL8
- Upgrades just like the Biker Captain.
Techmarine PL5 / Servo-harness PL6
- Vehicle support character. Built for shooting he gets a Conversion Beamer, for melee he gets a servo-harness.
Techmarine on Bike PL6 / Servo-harness PL7
- 1PL gets him a bike which means more guns, harder to kill and bigger movement.
Rhino Primaris PL9
- Has a Rhino's base profile but trades 4 seats for cool abilities. Has a one use Orbital Array, a Twin Plasma gun and boosts a LRExcelsior to BS2+. In the shooting phase it can repair 1 12" away, or give a units in 12" +1 to hit, or grants a 12" -1 to morale checks aura. An amazing shooting support unit!
Damocles Command Rhino PL7
- Also has a Rhino's base profile but can only carry 1 character, which really needs to be your warlord to take advantage of its Command Interface. That lets you generate more CP! It also has a 1 use Orbital Strike that has the potential to hurt a decent area.

Tactical Squad x5-10 PL5-9
- No surprises here. Their Bolt Pistols did just get a lot more useful though!
Scout Squad x5-10 PL6-10
- Keeping their pistols is good but its all about their infiltrate deployment and Camo Cloaks. Scouts didn't get enough love before but now their assassins to be reckoned with.

Servitors x4 PL3
- Cheap Heavy weapons that need to be near a Techmarine. Now cooperates with Thunderfire Gunners.
Apothecary PL3
- Comes with a pistol and chainsword with no options. The narthecium lets him heal a unit or the chance to revive a lost model!
Apothecary on Bike PL4
- A bike is still a bike.
Company Ancient PL4
- Peeled off the old Command Squad he has some weapon options but its all about the banner.
Company Ancient on Bike PL5
- Add a bike to support a mobile unit.
Company Champion PL4
- Taken from the Command Squad with a combat shield but now with a MCPSword. Honor or Death effectively gives him re-rolling hit 1s vs enemy characters.

- Build your own squad with plenty of weapon options! The Command Squad is now a Bodyguard unit of W1 models. Maybe not the best choice for sacrifices out there but handing out storm shields and special/combi weapons is slick.

- Good news, everybody gets +1W. Bad news, they only bodyguard Biker Characters.
