Here is my OFFICIAL Bretonnian Army PLOG!
As some of you know, Brets are not only my favorite army, but also THE army which got me started in Warhammer. This is a dedication and work-in-progress thread which will be updated periodically.
Army fluff: My themed background is a Companion Lance Champion, Sir Calyxtos Dakynthos, from the army of Duke Jerrod of Quenelles who fought and lost at the Battle of Maisontaal to Arkhan the Black. Performing a valiant charge into Arkhan's left southern flank, which bought Duke Jerrod enough time to assist Montglaive of Treseaux's Lance counter charge, in order to protect Duke Theorics Rapscallards shield weakened shield wall. After the battle, Duke Jerrod awarded Calyxtos a Barony with title, land, and a charge to levy and lead a force to assist the Empire in repelling a massive Chaos Invasion sweeping down from Kislev.
I started work first on my Men At Arms unit. Fluff-wise, I figured Calyxtos and his Lances will Hail from Quenelles but his peasants levied from the ruined neighboring Dukedoms... In this case Carcassonne.
