A Blood Bowl Pitch is made up of uniform square spaces in different configurations depending on the type of game you're playing. The exact size of the spaces can be anything but the old boards fit the new 32mm bases almost perfectly. I'd prefer to plan any new pitch designs on an even 30mm (3cm).
Standard Pitch (15x26)
The normal field is 15x26 spaces. The end zones are at the opposite short ends and are 1x15 spaces. The Wide zones are along the opposite long side and are 4x24 spaces. The field is divided in half short ways giving each team a field half of 15x13 spaces.
Teams may include 11-16 players, up to 11 on the field at a time, up to 2 in each wide zone. At least 3 players are needed on the line of scrimmage.
Blood Bowl 7s Pitch (11x20)
Designed for short seasons. The field is 11x20 spaces, end zones are 1x11, wide zones are only 2 spaces wide and the line of scrimmage has been moved creating 2 lines of scrimmage pulled back 3 spaces from the center line, creating a 11x6 space neutral zone in the middle of the field.
Teams include 7 players, minimum of 3 on their respective scrimmage line, maximum of 1 in each wide zone.
Street Bowl Pitch (7x26)
A narrower field described as being in an alley between buildings, making it more dangerous to play on with different allowances for support staff and players. The pitch is the same 26 spaces long but only 7 spaces wide with the wide zones only being 2 spaces wide.
Halves are only 6 turns long instead of 8. Teams can have 7-11 players with at least 7 on the field at a time. At least 1 player must be on the scrimmage line and only 1 player can start in each wide zone. There are no referees and no staff.
Death Bowl Pitch (26x26 overall)
A large field for 4 teams with 2 balls arranged in a + with 4 6x14 space sections attached broadly around a 14x14 central square.
Dungeon Bowl Pitch (various)
More like an RPG adventure dungeon or arena, it can be any shape and features traps and chests with a hidden ball.
