I know that there are the Battle Foam products for storing all kinds of models - X-Wing, Warhammer, etc.. I'm starting this for other ideas on storing X-Wing models.
Currently I'm using a couple of Stanley Storage containers like the one below to hold the model bases, dials, upgrade and damage cards, movement templates, and the different tokens - see below. I'm using a plastic case with cutaway foam from Monoprice to store most of my ships in.

Here's another way to store ships in the same kind of stanley storage containers that I use for the tokens. I wish I had thought of this one. I knew I should of kept the little plastic containers that the ships come in...
And then there is this nice wood one I found online for taking a pre-made squad to a game night or tournament.
