SCUM AND VILLAINY
The Scum and Villainy, newest faction as of early 2015, currently have a low to moderate supply of ships to bring to combat ranging from tank-y starfighters, agile hunters, and utilitarian effect ships to large ships capable of taking hits and dishing out an arsenal of different attacks. This list is ongoing and will be updated as new ships are announced and available and is intended to showcase the different types of ships available for this faction, not necessarily full reviews of each ship and their pilots and upgrade cards.
Most Wanted
Get your Scum and Villainy faction quickly up to speed with the Most Wanted Expansion Pack for X-Wing™! Slave I / Firespray 31
Originally intended as a prisoner transport, the Firespray-31 gained notoriety through association with some of the galaxy’s most fearsome pirates and bounty hunters, including the infamous Boba Fett. The Slave I™ Expansion Pack for X-Wing™ allows players to take advantage of the Firespray’s versatile armament and heavy armor plating, as well as a host of deadly new upgrades. Slave I comes with a detailed miniature, four pilot cards, twelve upgrades, and all requisite tokens. New rules and a new mission further expand your games of X-Wing! NOTE: These upgraged cards and pilots for Scum and Villainy are currently only available in the Most Wanted expansion pack.
Z-95 Headhunter
The Z-95 Headhunter Expansion Pack for X-Wing™ introduces one Z-95 Headhunter starfighter at 1/270 scale, along with four ship cards, five upgrade cards, one maneuver dials, and all the necessary tokens to bring this reliable Rebel starfighter to life in your tabletop space battles. Also, as the Rebel starfighter with the lowest squad point value, the Z-95 Headhunter offers an extremely efficient missile platform, better enabling the Scum and Villainy to match Imperial and Rebel forces ship-for-ship. NOTE: These upgraged cards and pilots for Scum and Villainy are currently only available in the Most Wanted expansion pack.
Y-Wing
Known across the galaxy as a rugged and durable starfighter, the Y-wing boasts superior armament, armor, and shielding, and can also be upgraded with an incapacitating ion cannon to disable enemy ships. The Y-Wing Expansion Pack for the X-Wing Miniatures Game includes one pre-painted, highly detailed Y-wing miniature (plus its necessary dial and tokens), as well as Ship cards for crack shot Horton Salm and three additional skilled pilots. NOTE: These upgraged cards and pilots for Scum and Villainy are currently only available in the Most Wanted expansion pack.
HWK-290
Designed by Corellian Engineering Corporation to resemble a bird in flight, the “hawk” series excels in its role as a personal transport. The HWK-290 Expansion Pack comes with one detailed miniature at 1/270 scale, a maneuver dial, all necessary tokens, six upgrades, and four pilots, including the renowned Kyle Katarn. Each HWK-290 provides a wide range of support options for your squad and can be outfitted with both a turret weapon and crew member. NOTE: These upgraged cards and pilots for Scum and Villainy are currently only available in the Most Wanted expansion pack.
StarViper
Prince Xizor worked with MandalMotors to ensure that the StarViper-class attack platform would be one of the most formidable fighters in the galaxy. The StarViper Expansion Pack for X-Wing™ features one pre-painted StarViper miniature, sculpted at 1/270 scale and brought to life as a potent, well-balanced ship that can quickly destroy opposing ships even while evading enemy fire. Naturally, the expansion also allows you to field Prince Xizor in his custom StarViper, the Virago, which makes use of various system upgrades and illicit technology.
IG-2000 / Agressor
A heavily modified Aggressor assault fighter, IG-2000 was the signature vessel of one of the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunters, the Assassin Droid IG-88. In X-Wing™, the IG-2000 is a powerful, large-base starfighter capable of performing the demanding Segnor’s Loop maneuver. The IG-2000 Expansion Pack brings this ship to your table with one carefully detailed and pre-painted IG-2000 miniature, four ship cards, twelve upgrades, a maneuver dial, and all the tokens you need to hunt down your prey and obliterate it.
M3-A Interceptor
The lightest starfighter designed by MandalMotors, the M3-A “Scyk” interceptor features a versatile weapon mount that quickly made it a mainstay among the fleets controlled by the galaxy’s most powerful and ambitious scum. The M3-A Interceptor Expansion Pack for X-Wing™ includes one pre-painted M3-A interceptor miniature, four ship cards, and five upgrades, allowing you to fly this ship as a nimble low-budget Scum faction fighter or as a “Heavy Scyk,” capable of equipping a cannon, torpedoes, and missiles.
Houndstooth / YG-666
A modified YV-666 light freighter, Hound’s Tooth was the signature vessel of one of the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunters and slavers, the fearsome Trandoshan Bossk.
The Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack brings this infamous freighter to life as a towering, large-base miniature starship for the Scum and Villainy faction, rendered at the game’s standard 1/270 scale. You’ll also find four YV-666 ship cards, a new mission, and thirteen upgrades, including the Hound’s Tooth Title, which allows your YV-666 pilot to survive imminent destruction by escaping aboard the Nashtah Pup, a unique Z-95 Headhunter. The Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack also comes with a ship card for the Nashtah Pup and the rules for deploying it, though to fly it, you’ll need the miniature starship from the Most Wanted Expansion Pack or Z-95 Headhunter Expansion Pack.
Kihraxz Fighter
Modeled after Incom’s popular X-wing starfighter, the versatile Kihraxz was developed specifically for the Black Sun crime syndicate, whose highly paid ace pilots demanded a nimble, powerful ship to match their skills. It arrives to X-Wing™ as a well-rounded, small-base, Scum and Villainy starship with three attack, two agility, four hull, and one shield. You gain one of these miniature starfighters in the Kihraxz Fighter Expansion Pack, carefully pre-painted and sculpted at the game’s standard 1/270 scale. Additionally, the Kihraxz Fighter Expansion Pack comes with four ship cards, five upgrades, a maneuver dial, and all the tokens you need to fly this fighter into any battle in which the galaxy’s Scum have a vested interest.
Mist Hunter (not yet released)
The signature vessel of the bounty hunters Zuckuss and 4-LOM, the Mist Hunter from the Mist Hunter Expansion Pack makes its entrance to X-Wing™ as a pre-painted, small-base miniature G-1A starfighter with three attack, one agility, four hull, and four shields. Meanwhile, the expansion's nine upgrades reflect the Scum and Villainy faction’s willingness to gain advantages with modifications of questionable legality. You'll find an illicit cloaking device and a tractor beam among the upgrades, along with four ship cards, a maneuver dial, and all requisite tokens.
