Watch the rumor mill grind hard and fast on this one.
Ian brought a lot of this to my attention, and i'm still trying to absorb it all.
But what i'm seeing right now is talk about the codex being a replacement for the previous elder codex, which seems like a jerk thing to do.
Then here we have a list of 4 new model boxes, and all but one of them is a replacement for existing models, specifically the jet bikes and the new Autarch model.
But we also have some other rules changes. so let me hit some highlights here
1: Scatter lasers no longer cause twin linked. There goes the sun cannon!
2: the Wraithknights default cannons are now D weapons. probably why the scatter laser lost the twin-linking! oh and the sword is a D weapon now too, making it more viable now. oh and he's now considered a super-heavy. which REALLY is where he damn well belonged!
3: it looks like the organization lists may have more theme driven elements to them. or it will include compound formations.
4: new FOC
5: !60 page book
I expect this book will look more like the Dark Eldar book than the current Eldar Codex.
